Lena Tsipouri

Biography

Lena Tsipouri is Professor Emeritus of the Department of Economic Sciences at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and co-founder of OPIX, a data-driven policy and strategy consulting company. She has taught, undertaken research and published in the areas of Economic Development, European Economic Integration, Entrepreneurship, Corporate Governance, Economics of Technological Change and Theory of the Firm at both undergraduate and graduate level. She is fluent in English, French and German, her native language being Greek. 

Prof. Tsipouri has over 25 years of experience in conducting policy and strategy studies, monitoring development projects, and undertaking programme and institutional evaluations. She has taught European Economic Integration and is familiar with the Union’s policies. She has organised surveys and conducted interviews in many of the studies she has participated in and through her active involvement in the university has herself on the organisation and transfer of information to students and student associations.
